CAN YOU HEAR MY HEART BEADING?
- I participate in a beadweaving class that feels like a band of sisters! The class is free. It is taught through IVC by Annette Hernandez, our fearless leader. Check out her website...she's makes beaded art! Now that it is the Covid-19 season of life, our band of beaders is meeting on Zoom. I've been able to surf the "bead-net" with all of them and so I'm posting some of the things we've seen here.

- This week I'm considering some Orange County native butterflies that I saw on a Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks website. Who knows if that inspiration will find its way into some beadwork!

Above right, is an image (left) that offered inspiration for me. I two made bracelets (top of this page) after seeing this photo. I believe the artist might be Cheri C. Meyer. Making my own bracelets, I used up some beads that I've loved and had for years but never decided how to use. This project was simple and fun!
